Here are what people say about Johanna.
I feel safe, seen and heard
I can highly recommend Johanna’s offerings. I’ve attended one of her in person circles, joined her “WILD WOMAN WISDOM: connect with the energies of your cycle” webinar, online yoni steam ceremony, used her flower essences, oils and yoni steam blends – as well as a DEEP DIVING mentorship program. It’s no coincidence that I am turning to Johanna and the wisdom she is channeling through her offerings. She is bringing science, spirituality and ritual together in her holistic offerings. I feel safe, seen and heard in the space she unconditionally holds for the woman she works with.
It was so lovely and honest and comfortable
“The experience as a whole was grounding and positive for me. The group of women, my own commitment to myself, and Johanna as a person. I liked the Inner smile meditation because it was meaningful to me and also something i can bring home. The flower essence was also very powerful and fun and gave much meaning to me. Particularly the order and way we did it. Drumming and singing are also interesting tools, as is the use of the body in understanding self and the world. Keep doing this. It was so lovely and honest and comfortable. Thank you so much!”
Feeling soft and delicious in my body
The Body Wisdom offering with Johanna and Less Stress was a beautiful experience and an opportunity to deeply feel and sense the body in a very safe warm and welcoming container. I work with energy all the time in my work so it was lovely to do some body practices that combine the two bringing in wisdom that is so essential for our everyday sensing and support of ourselves. I left feeling very open, soft and delicious in my body which is not something I always feel having been in a group setting.

A lot! Because how you experience menstruation and postpartum have a […]

Let’s discuss menopause more openly
As a founder, mother, health educator and a woman in “midlife”, I recognize the challenges that women face, both personally and professionally, when it comes to menopause. We are having children later in life, and dealing with our own transition while accompanying our children into their own, and our parents into elderly life. As we navigate these multiple transitions, we […]

A different way to enter into relationship: Women’s Herbal Wisdom Circle
Entering into relationship”At a given moment we lost the experience of union. Our modern lifestyle supports the sad lie that we are different and separated from nature. From plants, we learn that if someone desires to enter into communion with nature, she has to do it precisely from the place she is living, because this is the only place where […]
On Yarrow, ecofeminism and nurturing our relationship with plants
On plant allies and relationships Yarrow is one of my beloved plant allies. In this very special podcast episode, I speak with my friend and herbalist Mari Jerstad, for her podcast Ugress. Ugress in Norwegian means weed. her idea is to redefine what we think of as weeds. I speak about my own journey as a mother, an herbalist and […]
What does it really mean to listen to your womb?
“The womb is not just a place to give birth to a baby; it is a place and state of being that births us, that births new realities, that holds a power for deep transformation for ourselves and for others…the generator of vitality, boundless well being, sensual power and manifestation.” Padma and Anaiya Prakasha, Womb WisdomIn this post, I wanted […]

In this conversation, we speak about: 🔥🔥 the ways that colonization of women's bodies permeates culture, politics and economy to undermine and oppress women: control, shame, taboo, fear about our bodies (to name just a few).Toning practice to open heart and womb
This practice focuses on the womb and heart as two feminine wisdom centers: the womb is your alchemical cauldron and the heart is your fire and passion. When these centers are out of balance, you can feel numbed and disconnected, depressed, or that your power and voice have been taken away. This is gentle and yet, powerful work that activates…Womb Wisdom Circle: The Archetypal Wisdom of Inanna’s Descent

Our bodies, our power: On the politics of the menstrual cycle
Biology is not the same everywhere To understand our biology, is important to understand that biology does not happen in a vacuum. Biology, especially women’s biology happens to be experienced in a specific culture and social context. What I mean is that the experience of being a woman is not the same if you live in Africa (where there is […]
Self-care
Self-Care Beyond Rest When I started working with self care, my focus was mainly rest. Shortly, I realized that I couldn’t focus on rest without setting healthy boundaries, without asking for what I needed, without saying no, to people who were asking me to do or be something else than what I wanted to do/be. I slowly started to understand […]
Sound and rhythm as elemental embodiment
In this video, I introduce some of concepts we will be exploring in my new course, Sound of the Goddess. I talk about how we all have a unique expression of earth, water, fire and air. Many different traditions talk about the elements and how we express them in our personality, body constitution and emotions. Watch til the end, as…The politics of women`s spirituality
How does drumming go beyond being a women's spiritual practice to be a political reclamation of our place as healers and custodians of spiritual life? Drumming was political. A tool of the women who, thousands of years ago, were the custodians of spiritual life. From Mesopotamia to Egypt, women had political power, influence, and legitimacy in their community because they…Pelvic (Vaginal) Steaming 101
Vaginal or yoni steaming is a practice that has been used by women around the world to support postpartum healing, menstrual wellness and connection to our bodies. Why is yoni steaming no longer practiced as mainstream care? It was “forgotten” by the increased medicalization of pregnancy and birth and when midwives were removed from providing care and support for […]
